Blog 1: Welcome to my Product Blog!

Hello Reader, welcome to my first blog, I’m excited to have you here! 🎉

What are my blogs & case studies about?

This is my attempt to explore and solve real customer and organizational problems through tactical and strategic solutions using Product and Business fundamentals. I pick a few of my favorite products for these exercises, and time box challenge myself to arrive at solutions that could potentially have a large-scale organizational level impact. I will be using limited public data available sources coupled with any customer interviews I conduct within and across my contact circle to propose solutions aligned with the mission, vision, and ethos of the company.

Why am I doing this?

Simply put, I’m purely obsessed with bringing futuristic products to life, especially the ones that holistically dispense value. As a byproduct of this blog, I want this to also serve as an avenue to connect and socialize with similar product people across industries who are also committed to refining their craft, with mutual learnings and experiences from the products they’ve built and love to use.

What impact is this going to have?

I acknowledge the fact that fancy ideas may be dime a dozen on the internet and what matters most is the precision in the execution of any of these ideas. That being said, I believe all great products are created three times. First in your imagination, second on paper, and finally, in reality, executed with a team of successful leaders who will move heaven and earth to solve customer pain points. Through my blogs and maybe podcasts in the future, I share my approach to solving customer problems and bringing futuristic products to life through my experiences.

What products will be a part of these blogs and case studies?

I start with a few of my personal favorites. Over time I may scale it to other companies who are at the brink of adding a ton of value to the world, but either haven’t realized it or lived up to their expectations due to a variety of issues ranging from engineering problems, global markets trends, macroeconomics, competitors, subpar market fit, leadership & execution, financial issues or any of those in combination.

What’s the framework and structure for problem-solving?

I will use a self-created case study model to do a full product teardown to examine users’ unmet needs and suggest an optimal path forward by weighing tradeoffs that are in line with the company’s mission and vision. Product prompts may range from Technology, Design, Metrics, Estimation, Strategy, Global Entry, GTM, Pricing, and or any of those in combination based on the product stage in the lifecycle.

Who is the target audience?

I welcome people from all backgrounds in the tech industry ranging from Engineering, R&D, Technology, Data Engineers/Scientists, UI/UX Designers, Business/Sales/Legal, and Product Managers. I’d love to hear from you and add value to my posts through any constructive feedback you might have, even more so if you have close experiences within the product vertical, technologies, and or companies from the case study.
